No, this isn't a sequel: there's some common elements because unbirth had to be possible to make either story work!
Nice Time to be Female had the unbirthing ability evolve spontaneously. In Jessica's it's genetically engineered, and the women who engineered it knew it would be controversial and needed to be kept quiet.
