"It's happening again", was all the E-mail's subject read, but Rocket knew at once what he needed to do. He couldn't let it happen again. Never again.
This was posted in a chapter format on A03 and I have left the formatting in place since it's easier to do that than strip it all out. This is quite long (25,000+ words) and is made to be read in a chapter format.

Feels, violence, and all the drama a wounded soul has when they finally realize they have fallen in love. Strega, you should write books.
And incidentally, I wanna see a sketch of Rocket and Lylla in mid dance.

This story was supposed to be about 9 chapters but it grew in the telling. That happens sometimes, they take on a life of their own. Whole chapters could be dispensed with, really, like the one where they go to the park on Xandar and see Yondu's statue. I wanted to address that point though, if the Guardians got pardoned then he really should be too.
