It's so hard to keep off the weight when your tail keeps swallowing people the second you take your eye off it.
This series and the story were inspired by an old cartoon I saw as a little kid in which someone was trapped in a carnivorous plant and it pushed the bulge down toward the ground to swallow it. I did eventually find the clip online and it's practically nothing like I remember. I prefer my "remembered" version with the loud swallowing sound. 83
