hmm i see. well i do apologise for that then (sinsearly, no sarcasm). all i can say it is leading to something that i hope will pay off (in particular making sure the background details are in place since the symbols in the background are not random) but i do appreciate the feedback, and while i can go back to redo this part of the story, I will endevor to try harder with the writing to make it more appealing in future.

There has got to be more going on than what has been shown here. Red is well acquainted with Wolfette's modus operandi and spends enough time with her every day to have noticed whether or not the statement of her becoming, "more savage as of late" is true... and it's not. If anything, she's become more domesticated.
There's definitely more going on here than what's been shown.

I definitely agree. Red knows what she's like and this is pretty far out there. Yes she did complain but she didn't act on it.
