im guessing you drew inspiration from star wars knights of the old republic?

Its original inspiration was actually from Skyrim's Dwemer Forge. The use of star energy was, however, shamelessly pilfered from KOTOR.
well kotor's space station super weapon in the game is named the star forge so I just thought to ask

My first thought was kotor, but the rest of it didn't match up with what I remember
well the star forge could create a entire fleet in weeks with only the power of the sun to provide resources
It was a cool ass space station/weapon factory/death ray. Shame it got blown up

To be fair, I know I'm late as hell, in many a sci-fi setting involving super powerful weapons used by godlike beings, or in the case of KOTOR and settings like that, "Star Forge" is what is used to "imbue the weapons with god like cosmic powers".
