Panel one: officer Nick wild runs across a lost little dog, and he looks awfully familiar...Nevertheless he resolves to "take care" of the animal in the only way he knows how.
Bolt doesn't seem too enthused by this at first, who is this strange fox stopping him from finding Penny? his confusion only increases when the hot maw of the law opens up, beckoning him inside.
Panel two: The famous pooch finds himself in a very uncomfortable position, hot, sticky and with his fat rump sticking out of a cop's mouth. Nick on the other hand seems perfectly content.
Panel three: And now the dog is safely packed away inside of our thoughtful hero, to be delivered back to his owner in due course....hmm, come to think of it Nick forgot to look at the dog's collar to see if there was any identifying features, or even to check if he was micro-chipped, must have crossed his mind. Silly him!
Ah well, the fox reasoned as the kicks and struggles in his belly began to subside, things would "work out" in the end.
