A commission for -> https://aryion.com/g4/user/max123
Terra and John are about to have a pleasant dinner with an old friend of John's, Dr. Webster. He has just arrived from a trip to places unknown. things get awkward when he shows up with an extra guest who has some interesting dietary requirements.
This was an interesting story to write as it's not something that I normally do. And was a good way to expand on the themes I have written. I'm even considering doing a followup at some point.

Jeez this guy is commissioning a lot of people. And for essentially the same story. Not that this isn't good, it's just kinda deja vu if you have read the others.

Maybe he's looking for just the right one?

I find it to be an enticing scenario. I have them all bookmarked.

Wow. This was really an interesting story. Terra started off so maternal and happy and the tension when they met Zaubrek was really good. But I loved the sudden shift to complete apathay. She was so eager to offer herself up! And I love the detail of how little emotion John feels and how surprised he is at that fact. Excellent job.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. This was the first time writing a story like this, and it's good to know it turned out alright.
