When experimenting with mysterious eldritch forces, it's important to get the math right.

Tonally, this is much more in line with my mainstream writing. The narration loves the sound of its own prose and two characters share lots of sarcastic banter.

Any chance of a sequel, where the eldritch horror comes back as an abomination resembling her mixed with bestial elements from the animal test subjects? No fur, her smooth skin stretched over the animal elements, preferably

Who knows? Anything's possible.
I have no specific sequel plans, but I do have two unrelated WIPs set in the same general universe.

And so, Philter Silcrow has unknowingly laid the groundwork for the spell that will one day be known and feared as: Evard's Black Tentacles! Seems like Evard should have given him credit, though. xP
But yeah, this was a fun romp! You write sarcastic banter pretty much flawlessly, and this was wonderfully captivating and entertaining from start to finish.

No one really gives poor Philter credit for anything. I bet those "silly" pigeon charms are actually fun and worthwhile, too.
I love doing sarcastic banter! Almost everything I've ever written -- even the more serious and dramatic stuff -- has some degree of playful repartee. It's not really up to me; I come from sarcastic people.
Thanks for the feedback!
