As you see this female kobold has a forked tongue, unusual pupils and most obviously a belly so big she needs to use a pole-axe to steady herself. Though this is not how things have always been for Miersa here, in fact it was just several months ago she was a happy kobold running through the plains without a care in the world.

It was just a year ago that Miersa had escaped from being enslaved by a dragon by faking her own death while scouting the edge of the dragon's territory. She spent a month in the wilds until finally entering a town at night. At first she thought that now that she has freedom there are no laws to worry about, though she was sorely mistaken. When morning came she was quickly attacked and chased out of town by those fleshies as they yelled out things on how the kobold works for the dragon that attacked their farms. Miersa did not have time to explain herself they screamed out to give a message to the dragon about a higher bounty on his head.

Miersa traveled back into the wilderness and stayed far away from other towns that may have the same problem with the dragon that was once her master. Deep down the kobold did not blame those fleshes for hating her since if it were the other way around the fleshies would have been chased away or killed upon entering a the dragon's territory. So Miersa set herself out on a quest to find a way to be welcomed by all races.

After just a week of searching the land she for something to solve her problem. It was not until a starry night that she was wakened singing that was coming from the river. Curious Miersa approached the being as quietly as possible but as soon as she got twenty feet away the singing stopped to be replaced with a strangely soothing hiss. The kobold felt like she should run away but also had a feeling that she should walk closer instead. Miersa seemed to be frozen in place as her mind went back and forth on what to do, the figure turned around and walked towards the kobold.

What was actually less than a minute felt like hours until the figure sat down a few feet away in front of Miersa. The small scalie felt a bit of relief as she realized the figure seemed to be a happy serpentfolk instead of a angry fleshie which relaxed her nerves so the flight response was replaced with interest on who this is. Miersa was offered some fish to snack on if she just visited with this snake for the night.

Turns out that this serpentfolk was exiled from his tribe since he decided to learn the peaceful ways of the druids instead of being forced to a guard position. A large grin went across Miersa's muzzle as she met someone that was finally nice to her. Throughout the night she asked the serpentfolk a barrage of questions since the small scalie had no clue what a druid was. When the sun arose the druid stood upend headed for home, but quickly found out moving was suddenly difficult as Miersa had grabbed ahold of his leg. Though her body was tired from the lack of sleep it seems she had some energy left as the kobold begged to be taught the ways of the druid, since she was told that all druids were loved by those with good hearts and fleshes love it when a druid is in their town. At first he seemed reluctant to take on a apprentice having just met the kobold, but he had Miersa sign a scroll that gives willing permission to transform Miersa into a druid.

Right after signing it the kobold fell asleep and woke up in a cottage chained to a wall with a pit between her legs. Miersa started to panic but the serpentfolk soon calmed her down explaining this was needed for the druidic transformations she signed for would happen and the hole was not for her to come in but for things to go out. Without explaining any more the serpentfolk left the room and returned with a bound up halfling, as Miersa opened her mouth to ask a question some power came over the kobold's lower jaw as it stretched down allowing the small fleshie to be shoved down her throat. After the mammal was nothing more then a squirming bulge Miersa was stunned at what happened but all the serpentfolk said before leaving the room was the accept the ways of the serpent.

Time just flew by as Miersa was left alone digesting prey that she was not sure if deserved to be food or not. As night fell the druid returned to the room and started to prod her lower belly which caused a strange magic to flow throughout her body. Miersa did not know what had happened until she opened her mouth and a forked tongue dotted out. With her tongue transformed similar to a snake it seems that she could get a taste of everything that that was ten feet away. Miersa was ecstatic by the change and started to question the druid who soon left with the same saying as before of to accept the ways of the serpent.

In the morning Miersa had awakened when her tongue had tasted the druid and a fleshy that was with him. Opening her yes she notices that it is a human this time, she gave off a yawn but her lower jaw was once again grabbed by a strange force. Like last time the druid shoved the squirming mammal into the kobold's maw. Miersa was worried that this probably was not the nice peaceful druid ways she was told before as she swallowed up the last of the human. The kobold yelled out why is this happening and why does it have to be this way. The serpentfolk was silent until the stomach bulge stopped squirming, finally getting up he left with the saying accept the ways of the serpent.

Miersa decided to just sleep through the day as she was still chained to a wall and could not to anything else. Once night had fallen she awoke when the druid approached with another fleshie. Again he poked the kobold's belly and a surge of power went through the scalie's body. She blinked a few times and found out that her eyes are now more active then normal as she can perceive even the smallest of movements in the dark. It was not until she saw her own reflection in the serpentfolk's eyes that Miersa found out her eyes are now slits like the druid's. This time expecting what would happen next the kobold just opened her maw wide allowing what turns out to have been a orc to be shoved down her throat. Miersa just said accepting the ways of a serpent before falling back to sleep.

In the morning she awoke on top of her over stuffed belly, though she was now outside hidden behind some bushes. Glancing around and using her new tongue to taste the area left no signs of the druid anywhere. Miersa's intestines growled and she felt a surge of power go through her. Yet nothing seemed to have changed this time, though with how strange the serpentfolk's ways were she did not want to meet up with him again and find out what had happened.

It was not until a week later that what the final way of the serpent she signed herself away to get was clear. She finally had met another druid, a elf that was happy to let the kobold relax on his porch while he tends to the garden. She spent two days with him and actually learned how to do a few druid spells, though during a lesson Miersa's stomach began to growl loudly in hunger, she was about to ask the kind fleshie if she could get a snack but instead her eyes are focused on the mammal's body, her tongue is sending a powerful message that this elf is just food. The final way of the serpent is the strong will to eat fleshes as Miersa found out when she regained her control after having eaten the kind elf. Digestion had already set in so it was to late for the druid to come out.

Before she had to run away from towns for her own safety now she runs out of a town to keep the citizens safe before hunger strikes another target. Though even when she has not seen a fleshie in days it is a common thing for her to wake up as she is now, with a stuffed belly and no clue who she ate besides the items around her.
