And now I'm fully back!
Galya reckons with the aftermath of her night of debauchery, and gets a recruiting pitch.
-----
Prisoner Galya
Qualities: Devourer, Silvertongue, Social Butterfly, Touch-Empath
The vote: Two votes this time. First one is, Grandma- or presumed grandma- has offered to give Galya a private tutoring session on how to use what she says in Galya's demonic heritage.
Will Galya ACCEPT this, or REJECT it? If Accept, you can suggest a thing to focus on, though Galya will be making that decision herself.
The second vote... the prior vote went overwhelmingly for sabotage and remain, with fleeing and terrorizing being distant second options. That sets the priorities for the free guards. It also means that Galya's stuck in her cell without a good way of escaping, and little near-term hope of being saved by exterior help. So, there are two options: I can go through a prolonged timeskip keeping the focus on Galya in her cell and the demons' attempts to corrupt her, or I can move the focus to someone else. There's a few demons coming in with some captive Champions, a few Champions that escaped the net, our wayward ducal daughters, or a Write In Vote is also fine here! This one isn't really a formal vote, it's more a way for me to gauge what people would rather see, so no rigorous options or anything. Just chatter about what you think would make a neat story!

1a) REJECT. Work out the secrets of your own heritage yourself, or not at all.
1b) Focus on REJECTING IT HARDER.
2) I would like to see adventures from other champions, perhaps with a little epilogue that shows us what's happening with Galya each update. Doesn't have to be big or detailed, just a paragraph or two so we can still see what's happening and potentially even vote on decisions, but so that "Galya sits in a cell, #8" isn't every update.

Wow, I logged on 4 seconds after this was posted.
For vote 1, I think accepting is the best choice. Galya is in a horrible position, but if someone is going to hand you a weapon, you should take it. I'd recommend something offensive. Galya's social skills have gotten her this far, but the time for sly plotting and investigation is behind us. Now is the time to take whatever she can to be ready to fight at key points.
Vote 2, I'd like to stay focused around Galya (an occasional section outside the castle would be good as well). This is her most trying time, and I'd love to see what twisted ways they try to corrupt her, possibly leveraging any captured champions as well.
I'm really interested to see whether Galya corrupts, because as a clown once said "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy." And Galya's had a horrible day.

Hell yeah learn some demon techniques! Galya might be rooted in misery and depression now but eventually she'll snap out of it and want some demon ass to kick (or eat). And if this is some elaborate rouse to turn her to the dark side with the promise of great power? Don't care! That'll be just as fun! :D
Should focus on controlling her own mind first. No more losing herself in the orgies (that she'll continue partaking in). After that, have fun. Hopefully, the cavalry is on their way.

Resistance is futile. Accept it and controlling/using own mind more effectively. Sure, it might come with a price tag, but Rejecting it with little opportunity to escape makes less sense to me. Have the saboteurs show off a little, with possible casualties that end up with them being demon pudge...or maybe one of them shows off unexpectedly! Like the slime-tainted captain possibly, might be an after-effect and he'll get to have a nice demon morsel~

Welcome back!
I for one, think Galya should accept the mental fortitude training. It should help her in future, good or bad. Afterwards.. Wellll...
She should also consider opening her mind to the idea of joining the demons - if only so she can later use that freedom (or intel). Though her grandmother claims she "will know", argue it's impossible for someone to just accept evil into their hearts outright. She needs to be shown what it is that she might be getting involved with.

oh didn't realize the second vote. I am fine with either of those options; seeing someone else with minor updates on Gal might be nice, as long as we don't get overly attached.

1) Agree to the training on the grounds that the dukes daughters not be harmed, say that one of them wants to be a champion, and we will let her if she survives the training
2) I say we get updates, and follow the story of her champion friend

I'd say Refuse. We're unlikely to be taught anything offensive that could be used against Valguuz. And while a defensive technique sounds handy after that one time we had a critical failure against a harpy's song, we might only be taught a defensive technique that can be easily countered(Although I'm basing this off of a story where a character was taught a defensive spell, only to learn that the one who taught/created it had a way to cancel the effect to keep it from being used against them, and the character was promptly killed for their trust). Add in that this might just be another way to corrupt us/oblige us to their cause, and the pros are out weighed by the cons.
Or am I really overthinking this, and this is just an option to learn a new ability at the risk of corruption?
As for the second choice, I'm leaning towards the timeskip. Only because I have a sinking suspicion that if we shift focus away from Galya, the next time we see her, she'll be almost to completely corrupted. Am I overthinking this as well?

There's nothing wrong with overthinking. There are risks and benefits to both of those options. Galya's going to be rolling against corruption at a pretty set rate IC, and it's a pretty easy roll to make- whether or not we keep focus on her only really matters inasmuch as it gives this thread more chances to shove her down a demonic path and start racking up penalties to those easy rolls.

Alright then. Thanks for the info. I'll switch my vote around to changing focus to another character. Either another champion, or the Ducal daughters, just to avoid them joining the "killed off-camera" club.

Vote for Accept, if begrudgingly, the training. Focus on uncovering the secrets of our touch empath, and learning to discern our emotions from other people's without being overcome by them.
As for the second;
I vote for following the captured champions and revisiting the circumstance, with perhaps a flip to the Ducal daughters!

1a)ACCEPT
1b) Offensive mind powers, maybe charm or mind-control
2)shift focus to the captured champions. Also I'd vote for some lewd scenes about how the local populace suffers at the hands of the demon occupation.
