Galya makes her training decision, and we pick up with our new and possibly temporary viewpoint character. Sorry about the delay- will try to keep to roughly once/week updates from here!

Vasha (seen briefly in part 6) will be for a time our new viewpoint character; I populated her qualities with the two bonuses and one malus that came in second in our voting waaaay back in part one, and then granted her predator as well. And then I buddy-cop teamed her up with a big lycanthropic slab of beef partner. They fight crime! There'll be opportunity for more backstory/exposition/worldbuilding in the future. Unless they get eaten next chapter.

Also: The vote was 6-2 in favor of taking training, and 'better mental control' was the runaway winner there. So- Galya's training with an elder succubus. :)

Vasha the Champion
Qualities: Predator, Arcanist, Unfazeable, Delicious

The vote: So, it's pretty clear these two are two that got away from the ambushes, and that they'll be pushing forward towards the Duchy. But what should they meet first?

A: The daughters. An early rescue would make the *rightful* ruler of the Duchy and her younger sister safe, and would give Vasha and friend a heck of a dilemma when they heard about shenanigans.

B: A monstrous beast. The demons are summoning over creatures from their home outside the Kingdom both as security and to give themselves a bit more familiarity, and to cow their new subjects; Vasha and Arik meet one of the new arrivals.

C: A captured champion or two. The other demon groups were more successful- but whoever was captured can be freed. Or Vasha can join them. Really, either way.

D: Nobody: They quietly make it all the way to the outskirts of the castle town without interference... though they might be Watched.
