Well, fancy me stumbling upon this cutie. I like her design, and seeing her in both soft and cell shading is a fun sorta treat.

I will say that, overall I think your cell shaded version looks bit better in regards to stuff like her hair colour popping out more, the shadows are a lot more noticeable, and in general the colours seemed a fair bit more varied, like with her feet and claws, her skin looks like it has more hues of pink and red, and her orange reptile parts look more saturated which I'm always more a fan of compared to pale or washed out.

That said I do wanna admit her muscles look a lot better in the soft shaded version, as with cell shading they look a bit too overly detailed; fleshy, a bit too bulgy. I do get that she is meant to be muscular/toned at the least. Her knee in both of the images threw me off a bit too, it made me think her shin was too short compared to the thigh. Though I think her arms might be just a bit too short though, if it's not the perspective messing with my eyes too much. The bent knee does look legit odd though, with her shin pushing into her thigh making the area there look a bit too round. Curves really drastically.

Either way I love that you did her in 2 different styles of shading, almost like it was a way for you to show off what you could do to us. Not TO us but, you get the context I hope, hah. Anyway keep it up, your stuff is easily quality wise one of, if not the best of any recent artist to join us. I wanna see what else you got in store for us viewers.

Wow! I really wasn't expecting such a detailed response. Thank you so much. You've really made me want to improve on her a lot, actually, I have a few other versions of her in progress. I'll try applying your suggestions as I continue to work.
The coloring I will improve, as for the anatomical mistakes, I think it is best for me to learn from this experience and apply it to my next drawing.

Well hey, I'm glad to have given such a responce! Nobody really eh, does that kinda stuff on here. And much as it can draw the ire of a few people that I do it, someone's gotta. You're a fairly new and quiet artist here too so, I wanna pitch in and see you grow.

I'd love to see you finish the other version of her, I really like how she has some serious personality in that expression of her's, and even the pose says a bit too. Really playful, almost tauntingly so, and I wanna see where you take her. Plus I like reptile girls so, that's a real plus.

So yeah, I say keep drawing. Draw what interests you, show it around to friends who's opinion or technical expertise you trust, and if it comes out wonky, oh well. You learn more from mistakes and failures than you do successes. Sorta like right here eh?
