you know i reread this, and it's one of those stories where it makes you root for the prey. like the entire time you're hoping she gets revenge,even if it means charlenes death. and then out of nowhere charlene survives by dumb luck . completely shattering the hope you had lmao

if this story was written by anyone else i wouldve said it was a dumb plot hole but because gaela just showing up out of nowhere is comedically on par with her personality it makes so much sense its brilliant

Adding that to the fact that Gaela met 2 other preds in a moment of distress (Anya who just ate her friends and is having a meltdown, then Charlene about to be killed), by PURE CHANCE...
Perhaps she's a pred's guardian angel!
... Or just a comedic genius.
