I prefer willing and (implied) non-fatal/prey reforms/respawns for two reasons: one is that both the predator and prey are reusable characters. And two, I opens up a lot of ideas as to why people do this, such as a new act of intimacy? Forplay? Using someone or something’s stomach as your home, or at least you bed? The possibilities are far greater.

Especially if the prey was “eaten” by some kind of tentacle monster that holds anyone it catches in an internal cavity used for putting eggs into their wombs, fertilizing them, and holding them while keeping them well fed and “entertained” until the eggs are ready to hatch if they have a hard shell, or the far more mobile then adult form larva are ready to emerge if the egg was more like a frogs egg. First the eggs or larva would spend a few days in a “nursery” pit, and then they would be put into someone’s womb, and that person would be sent out to find a place to drop the larva off where it can burrow into the ground a mature.

Oh yeah, I LOVE that concept, it's like an extreme level of intimacy (except the couple is literally surrounded by the predator, hehe), all slimy and slippery :3
See now, I prefer unwilling... or... coerced into being willing. So all I have to do here is imagine she was coerced or mind controlled and that she thinks it's all pretend. Or maybe it is all pretend, depending on my mood. If ya like an image, but maybe not the intent, then change the intent in your own head canon. It's really that simple.
And in reverse, if ya like an image concept, but don't like the tearful unwilling act, then pretend it is just that.. an act. Pretend it was for show and the character is acting the part and is perfectly willing and loves what they are doing and thinks the whole playing as unwilling to be an exhilarating rush for that prey.
That's my two cent rant to all these comments about preferences of fictional intent.
