Is the incident of 26/3 canonically significant in MHA proper, or just something you made up here specifically?

If you paid attention to the story, it should be obvious what incident that pointed to.
I tried googling it just to be sure, but couldn’t find anything concrete about it. I’m not all too familiar with MHA, if you haven’t already guessed by now.
It refers to what happened in the very first paragraphs, on the first chapter, which was referred to in this chapter. How... how in the world did you miss that?
