Ah the story works really well even as a standalone. It makes me wonder how much of a lead-up I actually need in my own stories when it works so well here with just a few lines of dialogue explaining the situation so well.

I'm curious if you don't mind the question, do you write the story after coming across a suitable thumbnail pic, or do you choose the pic after writing the story? The thumbnail really feels like it fits your story so well and really adds to it~

Thanks a lot! I try to make my stories as concise as possible, but also with enough detail to make them interesting and immersive. It becomes more of a challenge the longer a story is, so I tend to opt for shorter ones when I write. That being said, I'm going to try my hand at a long story with the Halloween party that this teaser is for.

To answer your question, it's a bit of both! :) Sometimes I have a story idea/an ideal predator in mind and I go looking for a suitable picture after writing, and other times I am inspired by a particularly hot picture that I've stumbled upon. In this case, the picture inspired the basic scenario for this story and I let my horny imagination run wild with it.

I think concision is the most underrated virtue in a writer. It shows a respect for the reader.

I think releasing little segments of longer stories like this can be a nice way of keeping yourself motivated. I find I tend to stall once a story gets really long, I think we writers all feed off the positive feedback~
