It finally happened. Lauren got ate, then punched someone with her super strength from the inside. I can't say how long I've wanted that in this series. :D

I was kind of expecting Lauren to get eaten by one of the two when I got to the cell scene, but oh well! That ex-manticore is either tough or Lauren just held back with her punch, as her guts should have exploded out of her.
On a side note, a shrunken Lauren and Nadalia should fuck each other in one of their friends' bellies, like Strea.

Yeah, Lauren held back. She hates the smell of blood (for the most part), so she tends to punch to bruise, not to puncture.

I would have to reread SD up to that point to remember. It's been a few years since I've written/(re)read it, so I can't say for sure. But if that's true, good catch, and thanks for letting me know.

Fantastic timing on my part--here's the relevant text from SD 1:
“A Djinn. Allison said she met a Djinn once. Turned her eyes into marbles, so Allison beat the Djinn blind until it gave her eyes back. She might have fibbed, though . ”
I personally took this to mean Allison very much was fibbing.
