Another commission from awesometactular.
While everyone is complaining about Sword and Shield not having the National Dex (considering that Alola didn't have it either and people weren't going as far as they're going lately), I, for one, have been enjoying what I see. Plus, I could care less about the National Dex. Everything I've seen so far in Sword/Shield has been great, in particular: Bea, the Fighting-type Gym Leader exclusive to Sword. She's the best thing I've seen so far in these games, and since I'm getting Sword first (Shield will come later), I'm really pleased that my choice is rewarding me. ^_^
But, anyway, onto the image itself. Bea is at the beach. It appears she caught herself a tasty treat that she can work off through swimming and her Galarian Karate training. But I wonder who was eaten? Hmm? What that's floating behind her? Looks like someone's clothes. Is someone skinny dipping around here? Looks oddly familiar. Ah, well, no biggie. At least Bea will become even stronger with all that protein she's recently eaten. Thanks awesometactular!

Nice pic. Alola didn't have the National Dex but you could still use Pokémon from the previous Gens. Sword and Shield doesn't even have that going for it and yet Game Freak is already taking a shot at people's wallets with their new Pokémon Bank thing for the Switch. At least it looks like they've upped the quality of the game from recent trailers...

Even so, it's still little excuse for such brash behavior (like death threats). I do get that, but I think people need to look at the positives of Sword/Shield, especially the new content, and not dwell on the old/negative.
And it's not GF's fault for Pokemon Home having a paywall, as that's Nintendo's doing, not GF's. While I do agree that the paywall is extremely unnecessary, especially when it's been all free in the past, but that's Nintendo for you. Plus, it's not like the Switch Online is anything to write home about to begin with, so that's another strike against the paywall.
But, really, I feel that the outcry is overblown and people need to step back and actually look at the big picture. Besides, I've seen GF's coding ability... it's terrible, so it's pretty much a necessary evil for them to limit how much can be in the games at one time. Getting some fresh blood into the franchise with good coding ability would make things much easier, but, overall, people really need to see that they're not as gigantic as most think they are, so they have to make some hard calls for the sake of business. Besides, maybe the DP remakes could fix that. But, overall, people need to step back and actually look at the big picture instead of nitpicking over everything.

Well, Wobbuffet is iconic because of the anime, thanks to Jessie. And the last main dex it was in was ORAS. As for Diggersby, it hasn't been seen in since it's debut games, so it's probably getting the dex space because it hasn't been in a dex since XY. It's also the only regional early Normal-type that actually is rather viable, thanks to its hidden ability: Huge Power, as well as the powerful Ground-typing. Plus, rabbits are common in the UK (one of the starters is a rabbit, for that matter), so it would fit the region's origin. That's probably why they got dex space in the games.

I have its hidden ability just hate its design lopunny overused as it is is waay better also why isnt beedrill there i like vespiqueen but butterfree is overused and boring. Serebii has the full list so far and its good but mainly my beef is a few especially how useless unfeaseant all the other starter birds are better

True, it's design isn't pretty (I call it the Homer Simpson rabbit), but it got the dex space. As for Lopunny, it was in USUM, so she's had some time lately. As for Beedrill, I do agree that Butterfree has had a lot of time, but since we don't know the whole dex, Beedrill could get some of that coveted space. As for Unfezant, well, pheasants and pigeons are extremely common in the UK, so the Mon fits the region's origin, even if it's one of the more lackluster birds. Plus, it hasn't gotten any dex space since B2W2 (not counting being a DexNav exclusive in ORAS), so that also factors in the decision. At least that's how I see it.

Yea, i'm the same way when i see certain YCH, i've gotten a few from them.
