Part of me experts her to wake up outside, and the harpy was just making sure she gets no ideas that now she is healed she is not helpless. Maybe even the harpy likes nursing her injuries?
A non-fatal version could be fun to write. It would help explain why the harpy kept her for so long. No promises, but I will keep it in mind. Thanks for the idea!
