The Knight Helaina; a berserker striding eight foot high, fat with the lives of countless warriors, bandits, peasants and anyone else she deigns to commit to her natural armor. Despite her stature and unseemly behavior, she was actually knighted by a king for her service to his rule-granting her legitimate power in his, and other, holdings.

She has an iron will, and bears extreme loyalty to those she has deemed worthy of such. Impossible to intimidate, and rightly terrifying herself-there isn't much that can stop her when she's set about accomplishing a task.

Her services are currently on loan to several neighboring kingdoms-but she can also be found occasionally venturing the countryside, combating monsters and accompanying others into ancient dungeons.

I'm actually extremely excited about this one-some of you may remember this character from that project I tried to start many months ago-so far, she's the only real thing to come out of it, and it will most likely stay that way.

She's a design I didn't originally create for that comic, but she made her way into it after I accidentally drew her in it (I made a point of not planning any of the pages I drew for the comic ahead of time, as to incentivize people to take the story in their own direction). Since I doubt that comic will end up anywhere, I'm going to ensure her design doesn't go to waste-firstly, by having commissioned this reference sheet from  Owlizard! And, might I say; what a fine job he's done, indeed! A perfect reference off the few images she's featured in.

Stick around for future usage-I've other plans for her, further on.

Yeah, I don't know why more people did not jump on that project.

A story that can be led by different artists down different paths sounded damn fine to me.

I think it could have led to somthing really good if people just bothered to do at least one page each.

It could have been great bud, but I don't think people wanted to put the work into somthing to get it.

Well their loss :(

I think the idea of a comic page is a little more than most people would be comfortable putting into a free project-but any amount of imagery would have been acceptable, from a simple doodle to multiple panels. I also would have done every other page to help convey the project, unless told otherwise.

At any rate, the concept was rather silly-but I just wanted a stupid, unexplainable phenomenon to jump the story off. Could have been completely dropped, if no one was interested in continuing it.

I still think it's a shame though, and I think it still was a good idea regardless :)

We need more open minded stuff like it ^^

Anyhoo, like you said at least you got this nice knight out of it :)

Yeah, linings 'n all that. I might try again in the future, since I have more influence now-but I think I'll handle it differently if I do.

Huh? Oh! It was just a comic series thing that I tried to start as part of my burgeoning artistry here.

Basically, I made a few pages of a somewhat convoluted comic-and the idea was each consecutive page would be drawn and written by a different artist (or someone would convey their plot wishes, and I would draw it for them) and the story would unfold like that-kind of like a game of telephone, in art form. I eventually changed it to every other page, assuming no one decided to volunteer-but interest seems to be nonexistent in entirety.

You can find the first few pages here: https://aryion.com/g4/view/526637

My man where do I sign up??
Tbh the idea sounds great for up and coming artists to get their name and work out there, plus the community effort to make something work together sounds super fun

No registration needed! If you want to create a page, all you have to do is read the previous ones and draw whatever you feel would be a good continuation. Then, you can PM me the file and I post everything with a short story description of the events of the page, and all associated artist's credit.

I also gave permission for anyone involved in the comic to post as much of it as they want on their own page (for context, or otherwise)-so long as the other artists give their consent for each respective page. (I consent that any TurnArtist pages I've drawn can be reposted freely. You'd have to ask any of the other artist(s) however). I included much of the information in the cover page, here: https://aryion.com/g4/view/526641
