It would have been sooner but I was having near constant power cuts lasting hours on time. Either because of "Load Shedding" (scheduled power outages for those who are not South African) or trees or their branches falling on power lines (we have been some rains the past two weeks). My laptop battery sucks now and it can barely keep power for 45 minutes when fully charged and unplugged. Don't know if I even can get a new battery for it since it is a relatively old laptop, got it in 2011 or 2012.
Any how, after their "meeting" with the esteemed Bee Queen, SwankyPajama's Marigold and Cailey were swathed in fluids and covered with in a film then deposited as eggs. They were taken to the brooding chamber where they meet some familiar faces. Many of them have lost or are loosing consciousness. If they cannot managed to escape soon they will be inducted to the hive and be official members of the hive, transformed into soldier bees to serve the Queen.

I love how rubbery the eggs look in this. Makes them seem like one of the better possible round things to be trapped in. Me jelly!

In the game its based on, one of the games over with the Queen Bee boss is to be essentially "unbirthed" by her (I believe that is the term often used looking at this site). Inside the Queen's abdomen, slime covers the character and Queen lays them as an egg in which they transform into the larva pictured behind if they cannot escape their encasement. Then eventually pupate into a soldier bee.

awww i love it to see at least one of my charas on one egg like a cameo, amazing draw btw, i hope we can see more about the echidna wars game on the future
