Hey all! I wasn't originally gonna do a Christmas story, but the idea for this sortof came to me all at once last week. So here we are. Hope you all Enjoy. (and a big thanks to those of you who participated in my Q&A, my responses to those will be coming imminently)

I asume they have a "stand your ground" Law in whatever state their granparents live in

It’s Colorado so maybe. I’m not an expert on gun laws.

Stand your ground is not a gun law but a home invasion law. some states state that is is ok to use deadly force in a home invasion if the invader is also using deadly force. Some states have other laws that say you can't use deadly force nomater what.

I have three things to say about this story:
1. The harpy family Christmas was so adorable I cried a bit imagining the cuteness of the expanded family.
2. That jerk attacking a child on Christmas got off easy if you ask me. I would have made him suffer till he begged for death.
3. "bacon is bacon and therefore bacon" may be the most factually correct thing I have ever heard.
In short, fantastic story, definitely worth the wait.

Nah, the next story will be something different , but I might write an epilogue or alternate ending showing when they get home.
