Gris leaned against Dwayne, putting his head on the wolf's chest. In turn, Dwayne put his arm around Gris, petting the human's hair gently.
So far, it was a quiet afternoon. Dwayne had found the perfect spot away from civilization, a desolate but beautiful little park that absolutely no one came to anymore. Sitting on the metal bench together, staring out at the river and surrounded by forest--/This/, Gris thought, /is the life./
"What're you thinking about?" Dwayne asked, stroking Gris's hair again and causing the human to let out a contended sigh.
"Just how nice this is," Gris said, turning to his boyfriend. The two shared a gentle kiss, and when they released, both were smiling. "You were right, this is the perfect spot," Gris said.
"I know, right?" Dwayne grinned. "No people, full of nature, all the trees. . ." He leaned into Gris's face, licking his lips in a deliberate motion. "No one to hear me chow you down."
Gris giggled, excited. Then, he remembered. He'd promised himself that the next time they did this, he'd tell Gris. He had to.
"That sounds great," the human said, trying to sound casual. "But before we do that, I want to tell you something."
"You sound serious," Dwayne said, leaning back. "/Is/ it serious?"
"Kind of? Maybe? I don't know," Gris admitted.
"Well, whatever it is," the wolf said, putting his paw on Gris's knee, "I'm listening, ok?"
Gris smiled. "Ok. Thanks. I appreciate that."
He cleared his throat. "I, um--ahem." This was going to be harder than he thought. "Sometimes, um . . . when you gulp me down, I . . ."
"You're still enjoying it, aren't you?" Dwayne said, frowning. "I never want to do something you don't enjoy too."
"Of course! I love it! It's just that sometimes . . . when I'm in there . . ." Gris swallowed. He had to do this. "Sometimes I . . . imaginethatyou'redigestingmeforgood." The words rushed out of him.
Dwayne frowned. "What?"
"I imagine that you're digesting me for good," Gris repeated. Now that it was out, things were easier to say. "Like, that you're not going to let me out, and you're g-going to keep me there and I'm just food for you, forever."
Dwayne was silent, so Gris continued. "I . . . I like to imagine that I /belong/ to you in there. That you've found a little snack somewhere, and you're going to enjoy it to the fullest."
Pause. ". . . Can you say something?" Gris asked hesitantly. "What are you thinking?"
Dwayne looked up. "Well. . ." He turned to the human with a smile. "I actually imagine the same thing sometimes."
"Holy shit." A relieved laugh left Gris's mouth. "Really?"
"I like to imagine those things too, from the other side," Dwayne admitted. "Just having someone I love in my stomach . . . someone so /delicious/ . . . I enjoy pretending that I get to keep you."
"I enjoy that, too."
"I've been having a hard time telling you, too," Dwayne admitted. "I thought you might get angry at me for thinking it. We work so well together, and . . . I didn't want to scare you off."
"Well, you haven't," Gris said, kissing him on the cheek. "Not in the slightest."
"Good."
Neither of them said anything for a long moment.
"Do you . . ." Dwayne cleared his throat, and coughed. "Do you . . . actually want me to . . . digest you? For good?"
"Yes? No? I don't know." Gris sighed. "I like my life, and I like living--especially with you." He reached over and took Dwayne's hand. "And I'm terrified of saying I want it, and realizing I made a bad decision once it's too late.
"But sometimes I'm in your stomach and I think to myself . . . how it wouldn't be a bad way to go. How I'd be happy. Y'know?"
"I understand that," Dwayne said.
"It's not something I want to do right now," Gris admitted. "It would a big step, obviously. But, when we have our snack times . . . if you could be a little rougher with me, tease like I'm going to . . . die in there . . . I'd really love that."
Dwayne nodded. He looked thoughtful for a long moment. Gris held his breath.
Finally the wolf turned to the human. "That's something I can do, snack," he said, kissing Gris on the cheek. "I appreciate you telling me. And I'm glad I got to tell you."
Gris let out a sigh of relief. "Yeah. Me too."
Dwayne grinned. "You know, we were planning a little roleplay tonight. What do you say we try that rougher take?"
Gris turned to him, pure delight on his face. "Really?"
"Of course. Are you ready?"
"Yeah!"
__________
The human walked fearfully through the woods.
"Hello?" he called through the trees. "Is anyone there? I'm lost!"
"Lost, you say?"
Gris jumped at the voice and turned around. A massive wolf stood a few feet away, blocking the path. The figure exuded an aura that seemed anything but welcoming, and the human tried to stand his ground.
"What do we have here?" the predator growled, marching forward with strong precision. "A little snack has entered my domain. What do you have to say for yourself?"
"P-Please don't hurt me," Gris begged, backing up until he felt his back hit a tree. "I was just trying to get home--I didn't mean come here!"
The wolf smirked, grabbing the human by the shirt. "Anything that crosses my territory becomes my property," he said, smiling.
Gris swallowed hard. "What are you going to do with me?"
Dwayne licked his lips, and Gris watched the blue tongue travel delicately across the predator's mouth.
"I think I'll have lunch."
Gris barely had time to scream before the wolf's mouth chomped down on him, smothering him in darkness and saliva. The tongue licked him all over, savoring his taste, and Gris squirmed. "Oh yes," the predator muttered, his voice muffled thanks to the food in his mouth. He gulped, and Gris's head entered a threateningly tight space, which slowly made him descend toward a final destination.
Above, he felt the careful tracings of a claw on his chest and waist, and suddenly his skin was now exposed: the wolf had torn off his clothes. Presumably to have a better taste of the food--Gris shivered at the thought. What had he been doing in this woods, just taking a hike before his own dinner? Who knew it would be his final action as a living being, before his transformation into a simple object to be eaten.
The wolf gulped him down quickly, and all too soon, Gris entered the spacious stomach. The smell of acid his his nose hard, and as he descended closer to it, he was forced to curl up in the tight space.
Chest, hips, legs--all were relentlessly swallowed by the wolf, until only his feet were poking out of the mouth, still feeling the open air. The wolf licked them hard, teasing his toes, giving him just a glimpse of hope for escape. But then, one more swallow, and Gris's fate was sealed--as were his feet, which were squeezed down the throat and soon joined him in the stomach.
"You were delicious," the wolf said, Gris shrinking back as the voice circled him. "Enjoy your final moments, snack. I know I will."
Gris leaned against the stomach, breathing in the acid. He knew this wasn't really his final moments, of course. Soon he'd be let out, all too soon he'd be let back into the world.
But it was so fun to pretend. And now that Dwayne knew, it was even better.
He couldn't wait to do this again.

Thanks so much! ^u^ I do want write more Gris and Dwayne stories in the future for sure. I'll probably do another one after The Dragon's Five Courses is complete; I might poll my patrons (if I have more by then), see what the consensus is on what they want to see in a Gris and Dwayne story.
Thanks again for reading! I always love seeing comments, and I'm glad you appreciate the characters & story.

This was great. I like that they just added that to their role play instead of going right into it. I do agree with them there and it's always good to see a loving relationship to vore. I cannot wait to read more. Good luck!
