In the future and in the space hooker universe they discovered that females, besides being the best tastiest food source, also made for the best energy source. Years ago some alien found that women females orgasm they give off burst of mass energy, and during sex can give off a steady stream of energy. To help harness this wide range of untapped female energy, the power pods where developed. Over the years there have been many different kinds of power pods, but they all function about the same. A women is placed in the pod where she will be stimulated into orgasm. The pod will collect the energy she gives off during the sex and the spike of energy when she orgasm. Along with women as energy, they love juice and breast milk have will be collected too. Since most of the ship crafts of the Space Hooker Universe are Biomechicorginc, basically living ships, they feed on the energy and love fluids the pod collects for the females in the pod. Depending on the size of the spaceship will determine how many power pods it will need to power and feed it.

That's kind of part where I got the idea from. I like the organic flesh ships, but I like the more metal Farscape one better. Their are parts that are organic and parts that are a living metal.
I loved that show Farscape, it was great, I wish they would do more like it.

If you can find the 4 season plus the tv movie for the ending, I would so say watch it, it's one of my favorite TV shows of all time.
