The second part of Fischie's series.
Spawning will have to wait, as the sharks seem very hungry today, and seem to have no qualms at all about eating their prey during reproduction. Now the question is - is it a better idea to quickly try to get at least a few eggs and sperm into the sand, or to attempt escape and risk the whole clutch becoming shark dinner?
I'm really pleased with how this turned out!

Its hard to believe you are new to sharks. These look great. My favourite is the one in the upper left, jaws wide agape and the mer's tail just about slipping in.

This pic was "taken" about a second before the merboy receives a chomp to the midsection and a tight turn to wrench him out of his lover's grasp, followed by a quick lunge and a snap of the jaws sending him out of sight.

Look at those Mommies to be desperate to lay as many eggs as they can before becoming shark snacks. How many eggs can each Mermaid lay?

Several dozen? Some have more in them than others, the merboys go for the biggest one they can find... as do the sharks!
