Candice is a kitsune, but she was not born to be the Nine-Tailed Fox, so that meant her duties lied elsewhere. She was summoned to earth thousands of years ago by an old priest who needed aid. She almost pitied the man, given that he was grieving over the loss of his wife, but when it became apparent that he valued her body more than her spiritual abilites, she felt little regret in draining his vitality and swallowing his soul.
Time moved on around her, with her human body never aging a day. Time progressed so extensively, that she saw those who could potentially send her back to her realm coming to power, and then falling out of it to leave her free to hunt as she pleased once again. As a fox-demon, she is of course a predator, and her body can be sustained in a variety of ways: either by consuming flesh, vitality, or souls, and she sees no problem with taking all three. Most humans only see her as a human; the only ones who see her for what she truly is are other spirits/demons, creatures who can detect otherworldly energy, and those who she allows to see her ears and tails.
In the present, she is a teacher, but part of her contract of employment is that she's not allowed to eat her students' bodies, vitality, or souls, not even as a form of discipline. What she does on her off time is her business however, and the rules say nothing against her possessing her students' bodies for a time. At the very least the students who she disciplines by possession get the benefit of receiving a kiss from her – it’s how she enters their body – and when she finally leaves their bodies she is completely naked in their presence, but the things she forces them to do are much more humiliating than those who she temporarily hypnotizes.
When one has been around for 3,000 years, they tend to have their own way of teaching others on their experience. In her sex education course, the students really luck out, because it's exactly what most of the pervy teens signed up for - hence why it's a senior-level course. She teaches using group projects, and 'practice makes perfect' methods.
As for what happens when something eats her – a troll or a dragon for example – her body digests normally, but the predator winds up with heartburn as a result of her fox-fire, and unless they can digest her soul, she phases out of their bodies – though she lingers longer if they are simple minded enough for her to possess them and force them to beat themselves up for a bit - and wonders off to regenerate her body. First by transforming into a fox, and then returning to her demi-human form.
