The shuttle flight was a long, but surprisingly pleasant one. Funny how I thought individual armchairs would be the most shocking thing to me on the flight, but there was some weird introduction video we all had to watch before take off. I thought it would be the usual spiel about how wonderful of a place the area was, but it was actually about the Puwma race, and how their biology differs from most regular folk. They’re apparently super fertile, and take little under a month or so to give birth? And most of them seem to grow up in about a week?! Are they a hive mind super race bent on universal conquest!? Eh, I’m probably thinking too much from old movies or something. Really shouldn’t expect all sentient life to behave the same physically. I wonder though, just how life is for them then? Only having a few days of childhood, and they’re all grown up by week's end? Do they remember what those days were even like by that time? I pondered this and more while sleeping during most of the flight. I wasn’t much for watching movies or the like as I was relaxing. It was pleasant to see various noise cancelling sound channels they had on the flight, which was good for the 8 or so hour flight. I was a bit dozy when we were closing in on Dunzan. At the time of arriving, they gave us a little video synopsis of the planet. Something about a vase desert scap and wildlife. Despite this, they’ve established various large colonies across the planet’s surface, all protected by biomes that regulated temperatures and sunlight. I dunno, was still waking up at the time. We should be landing soon. Maybe then I’ll see what all the fuss is about.
