The ​Gears​ universe is pretty neat! I knew pretty much nothing about the game before putting this comic together. But finding out that there are creatures that devour people for the purpose of mind control to gain an advantage on the battlefield? ​Super​ cool. And definitely worth exploring for our unique interests. :)

"Kait was in the midst of trying to convince her uncle Oscar to join the COG when the Swarm descended upon the Outsider village with overwhelming force. During the attack, Kait is captured by a Snatcher and her mind is forced into the bodies of drones at the command of a disembodied voice. But Kait resists the voice's control, refusing to give in even when her only other choice is to become food for the Snatcher."
