I kind of consider myself semi retired from art right now. I've done pretty much all I can with it, meaning I've done all the different poses and such that I'm able to. I don't want to continue if my art is just gonna be same pose different character every time, but I'll never be truely retired from it so there's that I guess

Nice sketch. As for what you said. Have you considered practicing with writing? You don't have to be good at it persay. just try something new. It may help.

I think drawing larger/more complex scenes might help with erasing that feeling of sameness, but it would also be a much larger investment that might not produce the desired result; whatever your decision be, I’ll always enjoy seeing artistic works from you.

Looking good!
If you're trying to break free for the same poses, try to visualize some fun scenarios in your head and take a mental snapshot of an 'action scene'. From there try to find references of the pose of the characters in your head and it should turn out to be pretty unique!

Kinda made me sad to hear your semi retirement. Your style is a very pleasing cartoon look that's hard to find elseware. I'm sure you can figure out other ways to spice it up, or check out other endeavors. You do you.
