While we're on the topic of Digimon, do you remember the episode where Sora got abducted by Datamon and he made a digital (I assume) clone of her that lasted all of five seconds and did nothing but stand there silently with dead eyes and then vanish?
No? Of course not. But I did and felt a mighty need to apply silly, stupid ideas to it. What if "Copy" Sora wasn't destroyed, just left 'incomplete'? The idea was for Copy Sora to make use of Sora's Crest of Love, but due to being "undercooked", Copy Sora has no grasp on the concept to activate the Crest. So what should she do? Ingest the original and her Digimon partner and absorb their "data", surely that will fill in the blanks, right?
Not quite... The act of devouring and digesting another being in her stomach gave her a strange positive sensation, which her currently limited capacity immediately linked to "love". Now she has a powerful drive to recapture that feeling to better understand "love", seeking to devour anything and anyone in order to become 'complete'.

...Good GOD I put waaaay too much thought into a fan-interpretation of a clone with like 10 total seconds of screentime at best. And the worst part is I want to use her MORE.

Well if by some miracle it does work and she does come to understand the concept of Love, she is gonna feel baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
