(technically this is out of order. chronologically, the humans send a second expedition to venus before going to mars, but I wanted to draw this before the idea left my head)
The martians live underground, and the majority of their body appears as giant, burrowing worms. Their shells open up if they feel safe and need to interact.
They are intelligent, but not as advanced as Venusian or humans.
Also they don't know human language.

yep. It has other sentient alien species within our solar system, and societies capable of in-depth space exploration.
