Happy New Year, everyone! We made it to the other side, and hopefully that means the worst is behind us and things are looking up from here. But that can't be said about Raven...

This comic is based off an episode where the Titans watch a scary movie and Raven pretends she isn't afraid so she doesn't look vulnerable to her friends, but she most definitely is! The movie ends up giving her nightmares, and her psychic powers cause those nightmares to become real. How do you fight when it's your own powers you are up against?? Well, you don't really. Raven's been having nightmares about losing Starfire, and it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

"After Starfire's untimely demise in the jaws of the toxic waste-drinking mutant Plasmus, Raven's sleep has been plagued by nightmares in which she meets the same grisly demise. And when those nightmares use her powers to manifest as a physical entity in the real world, the overwhelming fear of the monster blocks her ability to use her powers, and she is hopeless to escape the death her subconscious mind has been showing her for weeks. In the end, her fear will consume her."
