Being blunt, I'm thoroughly uncomfortable with this story in the modern day. This was written in 2021, before my obsession with Misaka entered its current, ultra-protective form, and as such...features her as prey. It stresses me out to think about, makes me physically sick. It's only remaining up because I'm sure some people still enjoy it. But I myself am not one of them.
See, mind control is such a nifty power, isn't it? Even if Shokuhou Misaki, the Queen of Tokiwadai, can't directly control her rival, Misaka Mikoto...well there's always other options that end with that brat submitting to her.
For once, the story I said might be next after the last one...was actually the next story. Huh. Anyway, I made a lot of progress in this over the past few days, and while I'm not entirely confident in it myself - that's a me thing, really.
I'm personally a lot more excited for what I have coming down the line. One of them is going to be something special, and in general, the future ideas excite me more than having one of my favorite characters gurgled up by her rival.
...And if you wondering just how I was even okay with writing that, uh, you'll see! Maybe. I got something in mind, but it probably won't be for a while, there's a LOT I gotta do first.
