The Basling Forest is a place of abstract wonder for the local researchers and explorers who will find the forest is full of life despite the season and the cold snow looming on the mountain range that looms above. Explorers who are game enough to venture into the cave to the west will find Magic Mushrooms that have a dull glow deep in the cave and a sense of magic that permeates the walls and even into the forest giving it an unnatural vigor. The mushrooms are rare in most parts and very expensive to buy due to the use in various spells and potions making them a get rich quick scheme for those in the know. Some people even say the mushrooms grow and feed off the very magic of the world itself, rumors of true only a great explorer will find out such things.

Most explorers would rather travel alone so they do not have to splitting the gold with other explorers making them quiet rich quickly however deep in the cave Reila knows Human Greed all too well and various other races share such flaws. While she doesn’t under stand such magics the cave has given her more energy than usual. This allows her to get the drop on the money hungry explorers and other researchers before curling up in her hay bed with magic candle that never seems to turn off due to it feeding off the energy of the cave. Reila thought she had it all, easy meals, magic keeping her strong and her only rival Diale seems too reluctant to take her own.

However beating Reila, Penny decided to spare the Naga for her own reason and watch her slip out of the magical infused cave with annoyance that her hunting patch is lost. Having a takeaway meal of Diale was also out of the question for the Elf had already hidden herself from view.

Commission I did for Elise and the team of God Complex with one of the endings for Chapter one, the Non Vore Ending. So I had some fun with this cave design and the story behind it. The story is my own take on the Basling forest and I used it to help me draw the Cave up and have fun with it. It took me ages to do but I am happy overall how it came out. Have some more ideas to draw up as I can.
