Her shadow blots out the pool of purple light sneaking under the door. Blood freezing, you wait. Somethings in the air. It’s sinister, foreboding. The seconds before the creature pounces from the shadows.

Ugh, this title. The original working title was infinitely better. Ho-hum.

I hope this one's up to snuff. Eventually I just had to stop and put this up or I'd be editing it forevermore.
