A class predator has a lot going for them.

They never need a hall pass. They can show up late whenever they feel like it. And, most importantly, they can eat in class.

Making a predator wait until lunch or after school is seen as cruel. If they're feeling hungry, how could they possibly focus in a class filled with their natural prey?

So a class predator can grab up a fellow student, no questions ask. And chow on them right in the middle of a lecture.

Prey students are instructed to remain attentive to the lesson no mater what their class predator is doing; be it to another classmate or themselves. If they're being eaten, they are asked to focus on 'not creating a distraction'. This is a school after all, and it's rude to your classmates to disrupt their focus.
