On the outskirts of the Wilterregreen Wood, lay the wreckage of a small camp site. A collapsed tent and a few assorted items scattered about the remains of a firepit. Painting provisions spilling out of an upturned pack near an easel which housed a large canvas, a discarded shortsword, and some tattered scraps of clothing.

"Kavelyn!?"

A panicked voice, and the hurried clomping of a pair of sturdy boots cut through the relative peace of the forest. Propelled by short muscular legs, a lightly-armoured dwarven woman emerged running from a nearby thicket, directly towards the ruined tent. Cursing under her breath and putting down the rabbit she'd hunted, her head darted around the area. No sign of either her sister, or their client.

Kathilyn took a few deep breaths to calm herself, but her mind raced with worst case scenarios. She'd been gone for barely an hour! Or was it longer..? The quest they'd taken was simple and paid extremely well, escorting and guarding a landscape painter until she had finished her latest work. Nothing had happened for days.

"...Shit. Knew this was too good to be true."

Trying to ascertain what had happened here and with considerable effort, shoving her worries aside, Kathilyn inspected the camp site for clues. The majority of the tent had been crumpled into the dirt, and a support pole was snapped as if something large and heavy had squashed it flat. The brownish cloth fragments were definitely her sister's, as was the sword that lay in the mud. The pack had been dropped carelessly, but it, and the painting, were otherwise undisturbed. There were signs of a struggle, but there was no blood that she could find anywhere. Did something take them? No large animal tracks, couldn't have been anything too big or numerous because of the footprints.. Something that flew, perhaps hungry harpy stragglers from the nearby mountain? But then why was the tent crushed..?

"Kavelyn! A'riza! Anyone?!"

No answer, as expected. As she was taking one last look around for anything she'd missed, the loud, ominous growl of an unseen beast roared from somewhere within the forest nearby. Gripping her warhammer tightly, the dwarven fighter whirled around to face the noise and prepared for the worst. And in a way, she had gotten it.

The source of the "roar", was a pinkish dome jutting out from behind a tree. A dome that was all too familiar. The pieces suddenly snapped into place, and she saw the scene easily in her head. There was no beast, just an uncontrollable glutton of a sister.

Too hungry to wait for her to return, or just seizing an opportunity, Kavelyn had obviously eaten their employer. The tent was no doubt flattened by the resulting gut, filled to bursting with a writhing goliath woman. As dainty and slight as she was for one of her race, A'riza was still quite big. Kathilyn also noted, that the gurgling half-orb peeking out, was far too small. At this point, the goliath was long gone. Recalling the conversation she'd had with the artist before leaving to hunt, her greatest masterpiece was very close to completion and they'd have most likely been leaving before sunset today. Then getting paid.

With a great and angry sigh, Kathilyn stomped towards the poorly hidden culprit, who was currently urging her stomach to be quiet. Noticing she'd been caught yet again, Kavelyn coyly revealed herself.

"Listen Kathie.. I know you're mad, but there's a really good reason this time! Honest!"

These were supposed to be quicker and more simple pictures with the detail coming from the story mainly, but it's hard not to add to them.
