Recently, I started thinking again about that feral canine pred I came up with last year. He's been on my mind a lot these past few days, and it has motivated me to finally finish coloring this pic I uploaded months ago, in order to do it justice and give it a more "completed" look.
So, meet the mythical guardian of the Lost City of Thoumbos, a semi-divine creature that has been keeping watch over the city for millenia and keeps doing so even long after it was abandoned and fell to ruins. Any trespasser will have to answer to him and, while the Keeper does tolerate peaceful scholars who seek only knowledge, greedy treasure hunters and foolish warriors hoping to make a name for themselves by defeating him in combat will pay the price of their hubris.
I'm definitely planning to do more with him, now that I grew interested in him again... Besides, I really like the design I came up with and I think it deserves to see more use '3'

I'm definitely planning to draw disposal involving the Keeper at some point, not sure if it will be a sequel to this pic in particular though.

Oddly, after eating the first set of trespassers, he found he had MORE parties attacking him, rather than less ;)

Not that he minds; after all, when you live in a ruined city that has been deserted for centuries, any reliable food source is welcome~
