A prodigious student of the magical arts semi-accidentally summons a volunteer servant, whose soul inhabits a once-hollow body of the student's creation.
She needs help with research for her classes, and likes to look for more... Novel questions to answer! And hey, help has arrived, if by chance, so who is she to say no when her summon is so insistent?
