... how else did you think Jezebel had hundreds of children throughout the centuries? No normal human stays fertile forever, so Jezebel must use soul magic to empower her reproductive prowess. This also has the side effect of turning souls into her future offspring, which Jezebel uses here to spite the witch hunter. Perhaps he'll remember his previous life, or perhaps not, but right now, Jezebel will make his life hell as he becomes one with her flesh...
So a helpful reminder, kids: don't destroy a witch's property! They might get mad and destroy everything you've ever worked to achieve! I mean, that's the witch hunter's brother Jezebel is fucking! This man will never live this humiliation down: adultery was a huge crime back in the olden days. So now only is the witch hunter screwed, but his whole family will live in shame too, knowing that they have a man-eating witch as a family member! How tragic!
... let's just be grateful that in the modern era, Jezebel is less vindictive. Slightly. Still not a good idea to destroy her magic stuff.

They have the faintest inkling, like memories of having different faces, but for the most part, they are reborn as new people. Perhaps this is why Jasmine isn’t happy with her mother? Hm…

Jezebel did that with some of her children, yeah. Usually the ones she’s closest to. But they are functionally different people, so Jezebel doesn’t waste the magic anymore, and it’s why she treats her children more like casual friends than family. She cannot handle being hurt like that, over and over again.
… of course, Jezebel could use magical contraceptives or just not have sex, but she likes dick raw and sex too much to give it up. So what can you do? :P

Why yes, in fact, they do! Of Jezebel’s named children, Jasmine is an apex pred and Lily has power over souls, consuming them to power her magic. A few offers also inherent the abilities, but never both at once; otherwise they’d be every bit as immortal and deadly as Jezebel herself.

Same here. ^_^ I honestly should show Jezebel more love, out of all my preds, she has some of the best lore and intrigue. Just gotta pin down another fun art idea and commit to it!
