An unexpected bulge
(implied vore and digestion)

John walked another dog to the small shed in his garden, looking down along the easily digestible leather leash at the golden retriever which had no idea that the copper tag on her collar read “Snake Meal 28”. iNstead the canine seemed to be excited about the strange reptilian scent in the air and even tugged on the leash, looking as if she could not wait to become a thick bulge in John’s pet albino python. The man tied the dog to a post outside the shed as is his usual routine when switching on the cameras inside for all the fans of his pet who loved to watch her feed.
There had been some calls for a more varied diet in the comments but since a certain someone simply kept supplying him with free dogs every two weeks, John felt obliged to give this particularly devoted fan what they paid for. At least he suspected that this luxuriously sized canine diet his snake had been treated to was an expensive affair. Secretly he simply loved the thrill of leaving his bakery of choice every second Saturday only to find a different dog leashed to a street light with those snake friendly materials for collar and leash. Combined with a name tag which identified those dogs as reptile fodder and counted up how many dogs his pet had digested already, it filled him with a morbid sense of pride and obligation to Sophia’s secret provider. Maybe he could take on a second snake for all other voracious shenanigans and expand his curious video business?

When he opened the shed however, expecting to find his snake in her terrarium, eager for another meal, he instead nearly tripped over a fat, heavy coil sitting right in the doorframe.
“Did you break out again, girl” he asked, getting no reply from the snake even after accidentally jabbing her with his foot. That was when he took in the sight of her belly and his chin dropped. Sophia was absolutely stuffed. He wasn't even sure if the prey she had consumed, whatever it was, did not extend beyond her stomach, like when she was her first doberman ten months ago and her prey’s rear legs had to wait their turn. Right now the middle third of the impressively long and fat albino python was filled up with… something. There were two distinct lumps, as usual, certainly shoulders and hips of something.
“What did you eat, sweetie?” asked John and crouched down near the snake, finding all the cameras turned off, as they should be, but all the same something had happened in here. Someone must have broken in here and fed his snake.

In the end John brought the dog back to his living room, hoping she was well enough trained to not make any mess in there before returning and grabbing one of the cameras and starting his stream.
“Hello people, I am terribly sorry about this but this time I ran into some issues and by the time my cameras were cooperating again, Sophia had already finished her dog.”
The shape of the bulge was ambiguous enough to count as a very large dog and luckily his clueless audience simply drooled over the skin showing, scale spread on Sophia’s belly and did not catch on that he had as little of an idea what was in there as them.
He went on making up fake excuses for why the usually adored feeding was not on camera and then laid out his plans for more snakes, when his phone buzzed. He looked at it, happy to let the camera simply film the sleeping serpent and her fat belly and take a breath. Though when he read the message he nearly gasped. It was from the guy who provided the dogs for Sophia and it read like this.
“Nice excuses. :D
That thing digesting inside your pet is not a dog though. Don’t worry, she will be fine and should pass this little gift as well as the usual fare. Her fans cried for variation anyway, so I provided her with some. Sorry for the unexpected dog food expenses tho :P”
John's heart was racing now, wondering what had happened in his own garden.
“What did you feed her?” he wrote back.
“Mhhhh, I think it's better for you if you don’t know. Trust me”
The sudden seriousness of the reply and the lack of information did not make it any less fretful for John, but in the end some logic and his wish to keep the show going, no matter what, prevailed. Whatever filled her stomach was dead anyway and nothing could change that. And by tomorrow it would be just some oval mushy fleshy thing making its way through his pet. Nothing to worry about, nothing incriminating. He knew nothing, after all.

Everything proceeded to go just fine. Sophia moved here and there, sipped on her water bowl and mostly just slept for three whole days as the bulge smoothened out and shifted further down her body as copious amounts of unknown melted flesh made its way through her intestines. This was a great source of relief for John, who simply resumed business as usual, sending his watchers update photos on the digestive process.

(snek poo after this point)
Each day the shrinking bulge resembled Sophia’s usual canine diet more and more and a week later John opened his shed, sighing deeply, feeling more relieved than ever to find the aftermath of Sophia’s huge meal filling a corner of her terrarium and see her big snout pointed at him. It was almost as if she wanted to show off just how much waste her last feast had resulted in. John grabbed his camera, snapped a photo of the big dark-brown pile and hovered his thumb over the upload button when he spotted the finger nails sticking out of one of the firm pieces of snake waste.

More silly pet eating snake stuff. Though this time the bulge in Sophia's midsection seems suspicious

Suspicious indeed. I love how the story started, just casually binding the dog on a pole and treaten it like just a normal weekend. But the fact that you didn't said what the Prey were was amazing, especially since right st the last sentence you end this with something realy unexpected. Love this

I like that he films the feedings for his fans, and that he doesn't care what his snake has eaten.

I hope the snake will get more unexpected bulges.
