Memoirs of a Live-In Caregiver By LivesInAStomach -- Report

You stumble upon a strange recording in the depths of the internet. Tinies living inside stomachs? This has to be fake... right?

Day 3 of Voretober is here, and today’s prompt is “Symbiosis.”

***

en·do·sym·bi·o·sis
(noun) symbiosis in which one of the symbiotic organisms lives inside the other.

Okay. Yeah, this prompt totally seems like a no-brainer for someone like me, right? I had a ton of fun writing this. It's a little strange, a little experimental, and I don't even know if it has any kind of mass appeal. But I'm happy with it.

This is a concept i've had thoughts about before, but never could come up with the right logistics for it. I'm so happy to see someone have a similar idea and run with it, this is an awesome story!

Thank you!! It's a wonderful concept, and I did spend a good amount of time wrangling with logistics.

This is a really good one!! You managed to mix the "Living in a stomach" that you love and are super good at writing as well as making it a Macro/Micro story like you wanted to write!

This is amazing and I would love to read a future story with these two, Dulce! Even if it is just a "Hey, want to listen to little Emily, best friend?"

LivesInAStomach

hehehe thanks a bunch. Rest assured, I think I am definitely planning on revisiting these two in the future!

Oooo this is so good! Please keep writing, I love your style so much. Also, do you have any graphic digestion heavy stuff in the works? Your stuff is so good tho that it's not an issue if you don't lol

LivesInAStomach

Thank you so much for the kind words. Annnd... no, I'm not really interested in graphic digestion so I probably won't be writing about that.

Endosymbiosis. I hadn’t heard of it till now and thinking on it yeah that is what I sort of prefer

LivesInAStomach

Haha, well it's not exactly a vore term, it's a real life biology term!

Seproth

Learn something new every day. At any rate this is an application of that term I enjoy quite throughly so thank you for teaching me~

Wholesome predator/prey relationships are the best~. I love how the tiny just gives everything away (even their name!) to have a purpose inside their friend. I also really like the part about them experimenting for a while to figure out what works and what doesn't.
Last thing I gotta mentioned is the stethoscope~. Four years together and they apparently don't even talk very often, yet they still see it as a fun thing to do~.

LivesInAStomach

Posted by LivesInAStomach 2 years ago Report

Hehe, I'm very glad you enjoyed! I really, really loved writing this story. And I'm also thankful you picked up on that stethoscope detail—I like to think their "bond" is so strong, they don't even need to talk to each other most of the time. Of course, it's always nice to catch up every once in a while.

Another cute story, with a very creative take on the "Symbiosis" prompt! Honestly, it's the only one I've seen where it's an actual symbiotic relationship between the pred and the prey, too - both parties get to enjoy the benefits of their roles!

I don't have a lot to say that other folks haven't said already in terms of the content, though; short, simple, and sweet~
