Yeah but they'd probably tell me how badly bones clog up the digestive system too... I don't need lectures from my meals

The thing this piece does so effortlessly and so well is to show the predator dealing with mundane bullshit (bad date, flu, unsympathetic co-worker, ...) but then integrate that with a wonderful, perfectly casual ability to dominate someone utterly. It's hard to describe how effective the idea is... it's like, she takes for granted that life contains those rubbish bits, just like she takes for granted she can murder that guy in a way she finds enjoyable. Makes the vore feel really realistic/integrated into the world, and makes her feel really sympathetic as well.
Ended up being really emotionally engaging for me. I just wanted to take care of her, and damn the consequences. Funny how a story in which the pred complains about leaking from "every orifice known to man" can be so sweet.
Anyway. Enjoyed it a whole lot. Precisely what I needed just now ^^
