As the wet season went on, the girl's vegetable garden started to flourish, but so did the pests that would eat away at the plants. Slugs in particular seemed to be everywhere. She tried her best to take them out of her garden without hurting them, but they kept coming back, and kept getting bigger.

In the end, one especially overgrown slug decided that the pretty young girl must be part of the garden, and ate her up accordingly. Even inside the slimy stomach, the poor girl tried her best not to hurt the slug as she gradually melted away. She might've been a bit too sweet for her own good, but she tasted just sweet enough.

So, I tried some simple colouring after all! Some parts I like more than others, but all in all I'm pretty chuffed at how it looks. I can feeeel the increments. Only little bits, but I definitely think I'm improving.
