Church of the Insatiable Taurus
A religion opposed to the Church of the First Serpent and the Theocracy itself.
According to the official version, it was created by the great Matriarch of the Minotaur race in ancient times to stop the religious expansion of the lamias into their lands. Later, the church grew significantly, subjugating almost all the small countries hostile to the Theocracy of the First Serpent and thus organizing a Holy Bull Union. And over time, this state turned into something very similar to the Theocracy of the First Serpent, with the only exception that the clergy consists entirely of minotaurs, not lamias. However, they treat the devouring of subjects somewhat differently, calling it not a punishment, but a blessing, and in every possible way praise those who voluntarily agree to feed a nun or a priestess with their body. Even the nuns themselves, after eating someone, conduct digestion in a peaceful prayer and thank their food for its generous donation.
Despite the similarity in many aspects, the two churches are extremely hostile towards each other and the devouring of the nuns of one church by the nuns of the other after the slightest provocation is something completely ordinary. Moreover, lamias devouring minotaurs sincerely believe that they are fighting dangerous heretics, while minotaurs treat the devouring of lamias as a sacrament and believe that by stuffing their stomach with voracious snakes, they are destroying a piece of the First Serpent herself and therefore eating lamias is elevated in the Church of the Insatiable Taurus to the rank of a sacred fetish.
***
Helen - young and faithful abbess of the Great Taurus monastery received her high rank at a fairly young age, for a great service to the church. At a young age, she ate and digested three lamias at a time, which attacked her monastery and ate the previous abbess. Not only did this help her climb up the church hierarchy, but it gave her an almost heroic status.
Minotaurs are very strong physically and have a high resistance against magic of all sort, but for the most part they are not the smartest creatures in the world and easily succumb to provocations and cunning tricks of lamias.
Although at the top of their hierarchy are very smart (and fairly rare) minotaurs like Helen, who are successfuly rule over Holy Bull Union.

And what do you think, which sect is more influential?

Hmmmmm...
I would almost hope that the Minotaur Church is more influential.
And I am not saying it only because I am fan of this cute nun here u _u

I like it!
I'm not sure about influence, but I definitely would love to see this cute cow girl slurp down some lamias

One question? Are Minotaurs tall? My support is still to snek nun but that could change.

Hmm.. I didn't think about the height. But now I think so. They're tall. Thanks for the question.

She's beautiful. It sounds like the lamias rule through fear, and the taurs are much more benevolent, which leads me to believe they are more influential, especially if they manage to eat and digest any lamias that were being particularly voracious in a village or township. I'd love to see the backstory of her eating and digesting the three lamias that attacked her monastery.

I too would like to see this~

Agreed. Though i doubt that the minotaurs would accept a "no" to their "blessings" i would much rather live around the mino's than the serpents.

Humph, intereting indeed. It's somewhat hard to not draw connections to hostilities between real life churches and sects of differing religions, but I think that's what makes it great! Well done on this!
