This one isn't for the vore, it's for the story. It's for the readers who follow these characters. But that also makes it one of the harder ones to read. This story sees our characters at what may be their lowest point yet. If you want the TL;DR, I could summarize it as "Jack and Fiona have a big fight in the cafeteria", and I'd understand if you want to leave it at that, you won't miss much information-wise. But if you can stomach it, I've always said that the highs feel higher when you've survived the lows. And particularly when it comes to vore, the threat of being eaten is always more impactful when you've seen others disappear down that throat for good.
With that said, here's the fallout of the previous story. I plan on releasing the next story tomorrow, which is purposefully much lighter.
This special series is being co-created by myself and x9comega. If you want to relive some of the lighter days, remember how we got this far, or see if the next one has arrived yet, you can find it all at this link:

Well, loose a friend is not easy, I know because I went through this. When I was 7 I had a classmate that died from cancer, I was bullied at school and he was the only one who wanted to be my friend, they bullied him too. But someday he became very sick and passed away. I beacame so sad and angry that broke everything in front of me.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know loss can be... *far* from easy. Hope this didn't get you down too much.
Posted by MingauNight 2 years ago Report
I am fine, I believe I'll see him again. I don't know abaout Jack's beliefs, but I hope he finds comfort on the possibility to see his friend again, which, as the things are going, can be sooner than he thinks.

I feel your pain. I lost my Dad 20 years ago. It was 2 days before my birthday. Honestly, no one should celebrate their birthday like that. Fortunately, I was able to move on, and I’m sure Zach would have wanted Jack and Ozzy to do the same.

While I'm hoping Jack isn't getting sent home due to the society's discrimination against humans, just so he doesn't suffer more, there's a decent chance that is the case. Alternatively, he might be getting sent home for "excessive violence", for using magic to angrily damage some.
Posted by x9comega 2 years ago Report
I’ll go ahead and say why he was sent home: It was for his own good. He just blasted a pred in front of everyone, and a group of mages came to his defense. He very nearly started a lunchroom brawl, if he stayed at school he would have been HEAVILY targeted, even more than normal, for the rest of the day. That’s why the principal stepped in and stopped things before they escalated any further. He sent Jack home partially to protect him, and partially as damage control.

That principal surely did the right thing.

...Ok ok ok...But consider. The moment she finally understands things is the moment Jack is halfway down Arthur's throat.
Posted by Mechdragon1k 2 years ago Report
I suspect if Arthur does that, he is going down Fiona throat.

I won't give any spoilers, but I can promise fairly confidently that the emotion conclusion to these troubles will be a satisfying one.
Posted by Ignoreme79 2 years ago Report
I certainly hope so. At this point if she can't see how killing someone like that is such a terrible thing to do I doubt anything less than watching one of her own friends die would change that...but maybe that would just make it worse. Your stories are so amazing. they are emotional powerhouses. Thank you again as always for sharing them. This one hit me pretty hard. bravo
Posted by TheDragonBoy 2 years ago Report
Thanks a lot, I appreciate the compliment. We'll have to wait and see what it takes for Fiona to come around... if she comes around... ;)

This may just break Jack. Break his trust in Fiona entirely... And this, then, may be what brings on his doom.
Posted by Nomad3628 2 years ago Report
Well ... we have a breaking point here. Arthur has phase one. And Jack helped him.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 2 years ago Report
That is… if Arthur even is the villain in that story.
Posted by Nomad3628 2 years ago Report
The signs points that he's trying to separate the two. And his having a easy time doing it.
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 2 years ago Report
One thing’s for certain.
Things will never be the same between Jack and Fiona ever again after what occurred just now.
Posted by Wolfsage 2 years ago Report
That certainly seems to be the case, but he also hasn't done anything to raise suspicsion, when Fiona left Jack alone with him, he didn't attempt anything. Sure he might had refrained due to how Fiona might react, but still.
Posted by Nomad3628 2 years ago Report
A marked prey is very easy to make. He's strong holding himself back for sure.

Was Arthur there while all this was going on? Cause if he was, he really is trying to seperate Fiona and Jack from eachother. Staying quiet and watching Jack self destruct is some dubious ish.
Posted by x9comega 2 years ago Report
I mean yeah he’s there, that’s their table.
Posted by x9comega 2 years ago Report
Really happy we got that Q&A out before doing this one XD
Posted by ShadowDM 2 years ago Report
We need these chapters too. Well done.
Posted by CakePisces 2 years ago Report
my boi jack went absolute unit for a sec there damn, and all thanks to Zach too. pfwoo, this was a hard one, but man definitely a great chapter!

I thought of that one piece ost "After Eating - Grandline!" when those mages were on his back, feels more epic now XD

It's interesting that the principal tried to protect Jack at all here. For a tyrannical mind the easy answer would have been to eat Jack.
Posted by x9comega 2 years ago Report
Now who said the Principal was tyrannical? Sure the society as a whole leans in favor of predators, but that’s the interesting thing about a society, it’s made up of individuals~
Posted by 2Ron2R 2 years ago Report
I was actually saying that he isn't. Positions of authority often attract such people however.
Posted by Bobgodofallbobs 2 years ago Report
Maybe it time take different approach if there is magic I is there a dark magic you could use against them. Use dark magic may be the key to crush on hem all
Posted by x9comega 2 years ago Report
Sorry, not gonna find something like that in these stories.
Posted by Wolfsage 2 years ago Report
Ok ok now you are just spoiling us :D
Posted by 5UP3RN0V4 2 years ago Report
RIP, Zach. You surely be missed.
Posted by Mechdragon1k 2 years ago Report
Part of me wonders if Fiona would develop some kind of antimage power, and keep the same power dynamic she had with Jack. It be ironic for her to be a natural mage pred.
Posted by Daduke 2 years ago Report
Hope Jack continues his magic practice he made a few enemies. Though maybe a few friends among the advanced mages.

Poor Zach slowly digesting away at lunch...
I really love how you handled the emotion in this chapter, great work! I've been casually following this series for a while and with the latest twists I'm very excited to see where it goes.
Posted by TheDragonBoy 2 years ago Report
Thanks! The biggest twists I think are yet to come. Glad to have you along for the ride.
Posted by magicboy13 2 years ago Report
Narrowly averted a cafeteria brawl there! LOL if Jack got halfway eaten here you'd probably have titled this "HNTBL 53: Don't Start Fights You Can't Win" XDDD
Posted by TheDragonBoy 2 years ago Report
That is a very good future title. Don't be surprised if we end up using that one day!
