Young or old, predator or human, boy or girl (or anything else), deciding who one's friends are is an important part of life. Of course, when you're human, a wrong choice can lead to an early digestion.
I felt like everyone, readers and characters alike, could use a bit of a breather after the last couple stories. So, while everyone processes things, here's roughly 3000 words of Sissy being adorable! That's not to say this does nothing for the plot. We've seen a lot from Jack's perspective, and I wanted to give a glimpse at Fiona's side, not to mention a hint or two of foreshadowing if you know where to look. Every good storm needs a moment of calm first...
This is the last of this batch of stories; the next one is still being written, so you won't be so lucky as to get another new upload for a *fourth* day in a row. But so many of the long plans between myself and co-creator x9comega are coming together, and when they arrive, you'll be able to find them with the rest of HNTBL right here:

Seems like Fiona has failed to realize respect goes both ways in a relationship. Both people need to learn to respect and understand each other, not just one following the other.

I got a good idea what’s going on.
Arthur and the pack on the hunt will be at the same time Jack is on a date with Ruby.
If I didn’t know better… than Fiona will try to devour Ruby, whereas Jack has no choice but to stop her.
Long story short… their friendship will be declared no more.

It’s pretty obvious. I mean the end of this chapter mentioning Arthur taking the pack on the hunt… it doesn’t take a genius to conclude how that will end.

Fortunately, I got a second possible ending for that situation.
Arthur and the pack on the hunt will be at the same time Jack is on a date with Ruby.
If I didn’t know better… then Fiona will try to save Jack’s life.
Ruby would sacrifice herself to give Jack enough time to get away, only for him to get caught by Arthur, who commences to eat him.
Fiona, still caring about Jack, spots him halfway down Arthur’s gullet, and saves him by pulling him out of Arthur, and gets him to safety, telling him to get out of here while he still has the chance… right after they have a heart to heart, whereas both of them solemnly apologize to each other (Fiona for UNKNOWINGLY eating one of Jack’s friends, and Jack for lashing out on her because of it).
Long story short… their friendship will be declared preserved, yet things will never be the same for Jack and Fiona after that night.

Logically consistant settings with great world building can be a delight, like battle action harem side character quest. Come for the absurd name, stay for the combined arm tactics, competent people and world building.

Agreed, though I can’t say I’m familiar with the example given. I always try to keep consistent and come up with answers to worldbuilding questions like this one. But I haven’t quite managed to come up with a good answer for this one yet ^^;

I heard Wolf say once that they did the math for their series and even *with* farms it didn’t technically work. Then again, I think their preds eat at least 4x what ours do in a day. Still, not sure farms fit for us.

Its been a while since we've seen Sissy. She is a favorite of mine, and I do love seeing her get, and enjoy, a meal!

No argument here, I've been in camp Fiona eats Arthur since the end of #21, before we even knew his name. There is one other possible twist I might like better, but it's unlikely as it involves a loophole in the mark that the authors may not be aware of themselves.

Would also accept having Jack using magic on Arthur as a magical sacrifice to make Jack a werewolf.
But at this point, Fiona eating Arthur is a better retribution.

Its sad to see how her mind is being warped to such a degree, that it's almost frightening.
And the fact that Sissy ate her playmate, who trust her enough to let his guard down, should have been a wake up call for the parallel event that happened the previous 2 chapters.
Arthur really has corrupted Fiona, intentionally. And now he's leading a hunt? Something tells me that he is aiming for the marked human group that Jack goes to, with Jack and his new girlfriend being there, and Arthur knows it.
This is going to be heartbreaking. Unless something like Fiona getting eaten by a human pred and then escape from that pred, I fear that she is going down a dark path of no return.

Unless Fiona has some traumatic mental breakdown that involves with Jack and her, I don't see this as a possible character development.
Then again, I can see a scenario were she snaps, either being in a near death experience, or a realization after eating his current girlfriend, just taking to her bedroom, raping him, and declared him her lover/pet, and a whole different level of mental stability that will lead her to go feral/berserk if Jack passes away.
I can actually imagine her being so clingy to Jack that if he past away, she would develop some kind of deep mental scar, that any human involved in being named Jack, she would projected them as her childhood friend, and pretty much marked them, and keep them as her copping mechanism for her lost friend/love.

Actually, my username is based on how I stay anonymous when I present my idea or opinion. As I do have things to say, yet with the global population becomes increasingly unstable in mental or psychological fortitude, I prefer to hide myself, and dissappear into the shadows, until I see that my presence or opinion is needed.
As for the previous statement, it can't be darker than the current story, especially when there are darker stories like Beaststar and the like.

A chapter with Sissy is always a win in my book, and at the rate things are going between Jack and Fiona, Sissy might finally be able to claim her first human without anyone getting in the way.

Sissy's just so cute... but that might be a dangerous development there. A Yandere type Sissy might be a bad thing. "You're such a good friend that I can't bear to lose you! OK, get in my belly now. We'll be together forever!"
