Arcade loves his new phone, it cost a pretty penny, but it has all the latest features, including a battery system that can draw power from the surrounding heat, although that feature is probably more useful in the desert capital of The Initiative than it is in the much cooler factory town of Lornrest where he lives.
Unfortunately, his sister also loves his new phone, just not in the same way he does...

LORE BYTE!
The Clear Skies Initiative, Byte #1:
Possibly the oldest faction in The World Within, The Clear Skies Initiative are defined by their overwhelming desire to escape The World Within, and their refusal to employ tools unique to The World Within, such as magic and Embracing (vore) in their pursuit of this goal.
As a result of their refusal to employ native methods, and their fanatical devotion to their goal, they have become extremely technophilic, creating new and innovative advancements in science year after year, because of this, they have advanced beyond the outside world in regards to their technological prowess, although, they still covert Arrivals and the scientific knowledge they bring, eager to improve their archives and explore any scientific paths they might have otherwise missed.
While in the past they were extremely xenophobic towards non-human races, seeing them as tainted by the innate perversions of the world, they have since softened up towards them, accepting that they had no choice in their race, and are victims of The World Within, just as they are, although many still hold prejudices across their holdings.
Around 200 years ago, around the same time this newer view on non-humans began to emerge, The Clear Skies Initiative abruptly changed its name from ‘The Outbreak Initiative’ to its modern name, the exact reasons for this change are unknown, guarded closely by the Initiatives leaders, but it is known that it coincided with the first, and last, manned mission to the edge of The World Within’s sky.
Whilst the Initiative enforces atheism in it’s populace (giving exception to faiths founded in the outside world), one particular group that has seemingly existed since the Initiative’s founding does exhibit some religious qualities, The Mechanist Order, led by the enigmatic ‘Mechanist’ preaches the worship of technology, and teaches that all of mankind's goals should be to one day ascend to a perfect existence of steel and circuitry, however because The Mechanist Order are known to be exceptionally xenophobic, and because their technophilic tendency’s are best described as ‘radical’, they are disavowed by the Initiatives leadership, although rumours persist that the Initiative does have some under the table economic dealings with the order.

I would love a part 2 with more unaware entrapment.

Yet more excellent writing and yet more wonderful story concepts. You really manage to hit the 'show don't tell' aspect of writing ever so nicely and get descriptive text hitting that right edge between specific enough without tipping into the 'just make entire paragraphs of nonsense noise sounds'.

Also, as much as I know you write spontaneously and not with a "and then this happened" in mind, I still love imagining where a sequel might go. Mostly I'm just torn deciding which would be more fun, if Gretchen really is completely and utterly unaware and Arcade has just joined everything (and one) that's mysteriously vanished in the course of Gretchen's pervy exploits, or she knows exactly where his Gamestation and other trinkets are, and has been getting off feeling that handheld rumble while she sits right next to him and is about to wake up to a delightful surprise.

Thanks, descriptions are the part I worry about most, so it's good to know I'm not fucking them up too badly XD!
