A 500-pound badger is a useful guy to have around as a bouncer. Especially when he's very good at wrestling people to the floor and disarming them or, if they are very uncooperative, giving them the choice of leaving through the door or the OTHER way.
(Trying to hack Bartleby up before he pulls you down is a good way to make sure you leave the OTHER way.)

AND he has the Improved Grapple feat so he gets another +4. AND he's very strong. He's not invincible by any means, but he's a really tough bouncer.

Bart is also a city guardsman. He has to explain every time he eats someone, and get time off to digest them and so on. He has eaten people in the bar but you have to get him pretty angry. 83

Someone slicing me with a sword would anger me enough. The time of to digest them just means time off for the wounds to heal as well.

He's not big on it either, but eating someone is a pretty drastic step. He tends to just throw such people out the door, but he's eaten a couple of people who wouldn't let the subject drop.

Not many. There was the one guy who deliberately provoked Bart into eating him, but it turned out the guy had reformation magic and was super into it. The guy did that to Bart and another pred and ended up getting kicked out of town as a result.

Yes I suppose it makes sense they would get kicked out for provoking them like that. It's one thing if you're in a fight you're disabled and you and you take a moment to calm down and think about after someone says that but to just start a fight with that in mind yeah that's not a good look. We need to protect the Predators just as much as we need to protect the ones that may become prey.

He wasn't kicked out just for that. He was provoking preds into what they thought were deadly responses and then showing up later. That's essentially con artist behavior and the city constabulary sided with the preds.
