Only My Beached Whalegun By Kiritaba -- Report

Following an...unorthodox start to their summer vacation, Misaka Mikoto and her best-friend-turned-maybe-love Shirai Kuroko finally get to enjoy their coveted trip to the beach. ...but of course, things are never THAT simple for Tokiwadai's Railgun, and hijinks - as they almost always do - ensue. And just like their last delving into voracious activities, that stomach's getting filled one way or another. Whether those inside it agree or not.

If the title wasn't an indicator - yeah, I know it's been a bit, sorry about that - this is a direct follow-up to my previous story. Been a while since I did that! If you're wondering why this took so long to come out, well...if you're seeing this, you're at the bottom. How long did it take you to scroll through this story?

Yes, this is now my longest story by a CONSIDERABLE margin, nearly 8,000 words. Grand total comes out to 25,423, with 150 KB of text, and 45 pages. And for reference, I started writing this the same day the first one came out, and as of writing this description, which is 11 PM on October 4th, I JUST finished like...half an hour ago. Holy fuck. Like, god this was an undertaking. You can see why this took 5 months. ...right?

Will there be a part 3? ...No. I really have no idea where to take this specific incarnation of these characters after this story, I kind of just...wanted a nice little happy ending for my favorite pair of dorks. So I really just, put it all into this one. And after...how well the first part did, it was a little intimidating, I'll be honest, but I hope I did a decent job.

This is NOT my last stint with these two, I love them too much to just up and abandon them, but I am thinking about taking a break from them, or finding new scenarios that bring a little more variety to it all, especially the overall selection of characters on offer...maybe I finally watch Index...

I wasn't expecting to read something this long tonight, but it was worth it. To answer, 2 hours and a half is how long it took me. I really underestimated how long this was, but it was very well written. Sometimes I wish I could write things like this, but then it wouldn't really be me, you know? Great job, good read :)

...wow. My estimate was an hour, but I guess that was lowballing it! Nonetheless, thank you for dedicating that time to reading this silly thing! It really means a lot that people even want to put up with stuff that's this long in the first place. I never mean to write as much as I do, but I just get caught up in it all, and well...you end up with this! ^^'

I took about an hour to read the whole thing. I agree with OP, it was nicely written and an overall comfortable read.

I always try to write stories in a way that's relatively easy to get into...at least I like to think so, but I was afraid it being a sequel - and a lengthy read in its own right - would run counter to that. So I appreciate knowing that I did my job alright! -w-b

In all fairness, I'm a pretty slow reader, but despite the length, it really was just a nice read. I mean, it kept my attention for that long, so :p

I say this Story was good and it's definitely one of my favorite ones! But still for fun how would Mikoto in the Toaru voreverse react if someone called her out on this deed.

"You killed her! She was your friend and you killed her! She looked up to you! She was one of your best friends! How could you do that to Saten! She was a close person to you! and you just sadistic ate her because she rightfully called you out on something you fatass!"

Also will you in time make a vore Story of a mikoto clone oe uiharu or Saten as a pred in time?

I'm not sure what would ultimately come to fruition, but I've definitely had ideas for other characters, yeah! Kuroko, Saten, Uiharu, the sisters, I just gotta find one that clicks with me, and stick with it.

Yeah also i will Admit it was sorta a tear jerker how Mikoto Cruely ate and digested Saten without any remorse when she only wanted to help her friend....

Well for the sisters think they be the type to do vore of they looked it up online? Imagine mikoto reaction if alot of her sisters did vore....she facepalm.

Kiritaba

Posted by Kiritaba 1 year ago Report

I think they'd be susceptible enough to maybe try it, yeah. And their reactions could be pretty funny, since you have that dead pan, somewhat dry, unintentional humor on their part.

Yap....and worse think Mikoto would half to hide her chubby sisters and be worried they be obssessed?

Alao got to ask? In this vore story is Mikoto Misaka a Major Hypocrite?

And also, curious would.....Uiharu be extremly sad when she finds out about Satens....death in this story?

Kiritaba

Misaka having to hide the sisters from Kuroko, or just, in general around the city does sound like it could be a fun scenario.

As for whether or not she's a hypocrite...I mean, yeah, she's a total hypocrite. That's what Saten even points out to her, but Misaka's just too exhausted and frustrated to even listen to any form of reason. At that point, she just sees it as excuses for why her friend has turned against her. Not exactly being the best friend, or...really even a good person, but in her not-so-clear mind, it's justified.

As for Uiharu...probably, yeah. Though with this being the end of this overall story, it's not something I'm particularly concerned with. The status quo's been changed so much as is, between Shokuhou being out of the picture, Misaka and Kuroko actually being together, Saten being gone, whatever would come next...is beyond me.

Well would Mikoto be paniced that girls who look like her are eating people and her friends and people fhe wrong idea and they think its her?

So mikoto in this story is delusonal to and only does what she thinks is best...is she no better then Misakk?

Hmmmmmm think it vw fun if uiharu...was out for revenge on them?

Kiritaba

Posted by Kiritaba 1 year ago Report

She probably would. It's bad enough that there are girls going around the city that look identically to her, if they suddenly start doing these...immoral acts with essentially no regard for the consequences, it could drag her reputation through the mud.

Yeah, that was the idea. I even think at one point, Shokuhou calls their attempts at calling her out, moral grandstanding. Like, Misaka can justify what she does all she wants, but...really, the two Level 5s aren't so different. But of course, either Misaka or Kuroko can see that, and that's wherein the irony lies.

Thescrew211

Well, For fun think Mikoto can talk her sisters to....mellow out on going on a vore rampage? And she clears her name and the whole vore Mikoto rumors stop or something....but under a price lets say only three Mikoto clones do vore.

Well, I'm surprised that Misaki did not call Mikoto out on how she ate and basically sadisticly killed her friend Saten, atleast she did not do that to her own minions.

Kiritaba

I operated under the assumption that nobody saw it happen. Adds more tragedy to Saten, that the Level 0 gets eliminated by the Level 5, and nobody even notices despite how many people are at the beach. Once I got to Shokuhou, I pretty much just treated it as a new part of the story, and moved on from Saten, really.

Thescrew211

Posted by Thescrew211 1 year ago Report

Well Kuroko saw it and Misaki reads minds...she prob love to mock and tount Mikoto about this.

Also think a Mikoto clone would ever eat the original? Aka there big sistee in a attempt to be one with there big sister.

Haven’t gotten a chance to read this yet today, but I am EXTREMELY excited to~ You killed it on the last one, and I’ve no doubts about a repeat performance!

Shucks, thank you! Hope you enjoy it when you get a chance to, know I did while writing it.

Having gotten a chance to read it, I have to say your winning streak continues unabated~ I was not disappointed by the narrative detail, and was glad to see further embellishment of the pair’s cutesy weight-related involvements. And, as an added bonus; you successfully evoked my sense of social anxiety, so S+ job of getting me invested-whether or not I feel anxious while reading something usually informs me as to how much I’m enjoying it, oddly enough~

Shucks, you're too kind. I'm really flattered that it was able to have that kind of effect, makes me feel really good just knowing that the reader can be just as invested while reading as I was while writing it! ^-^

Good story. I like the digestion scenes, and the lovers reltiomship. Surprisingly platonic and nonsexual

Kiritaba

Thank you! Honestly, that's just kinda how I roll! I'm not super super into the whole sexual side of relationships most of the time, so at most it's more of a background element. I like my stuff cute and fluffy, just the kind of romance I always seem to end up gravitating towards.

I like both, but i thibk you did the emotional part very well!

Awesome, I'm super glad! I find the parts like that to be where I really get my groove, I absolutely love writing it.
